Mondo makes me happy

Anyone see the Project Runway finale this week? Mondo's show made me so so happy. First, I love that crazy print that kind of reminds me of a tacky winter sweater Carl might have worn on Family Matters. Except it's a legging here. And it works!

I'm also mad about that wickedly intricate skull top in the top photo & the necklace in the bottom. I have a similar 1. It's all wood. From my great-grandmother's jewelry box. Man, I sure do hope Mondo goes far. And that I can wear some of his pretties someday soon!

Happy Halloween!

So, I know, I have been a bit of a delinquent blogger as of late. Sorry. Been busy making things. Baking things, etc. I'll post more on that soon. But, in the meantime, just wanted to drop in & wish everyone in blogland a happy Halloween! I got all of these [amazing] images from the Rococo Vintage blog. Which I miss, btw. Sorely. See credits below.

Cake banners are sooo cute!

I am so obsessed with these custom cake banners I found on Wedzu! BTW, have you seen Wedzu (the new indie wedding craft site)? Great resource for brides & grooms. But equally great resource (& inspiration!) for the rest of us indie, crafty folk. Love it already!

Oscar babes

So, Oscar de la Renta recently launched a collection of dresses for girls! I know, right!? So cute. The darling dresses cost $200 & $400. But really. They are so cute, it hurts.

The London Shows: my favorite [print] moments

Print lovers: did you see the London shows? I was especially taken by the Christopher Kane show (top), the Erdem show (center), & the Jonathan Saunders show (bottom). Wow. And I am so loving the graphic, cutout overlay atop the funky prints. Still my heart.
