When I saw these Rebecca Minkoff pouches on shopbop.com recently, I immediately thought of the purse I made last Christmas (also inspired by a designer version). Another super chic DIY project in my future? Maybe. For 1 of these classes? Possibly. Stay tuned.
Lord knows I love a Burberry show (see here & here par example), & the latest show did not disappoint. I am so so smitten with the use of the punchy pops of color which update the classic separates so beautifully. The entire show gave me happy feelings, not unlike those experienced after seeing the Peter Som show.
So here's what I am thinking...come spring, if you are not in the position to buy a bunch of new clothes, then no worries. Spring for a hot green (or pink or blue) belt or bag instead. Love that.

I do LOVE a Jenni Kayne show. This season the designer mixed things up with the prettiest berry tones & horizontal strips! The show, which was inspired by a fantasy road trip, was perfectly (& simply) styled with great sunglasses, minimal (but hot) shoes & long necklaces. So so chic.

I am slightly obsessed with this show house. I'm especially loving that chandelier in the dining room (it is real turquoise, by the way), saffron (yes, saffron!) trellis walls & verre églomisé panels in the bathroom, & vintage furnishings & furniture covered in durable outdoor fabric in the sunroom. The entire 'home' is just stunning, no?

The Chris Benz show was, well, very literal when it came to its sixties influences. But that's what makes it fun, no? That green. That trapeze dress. Those bell bottoms. Each piece is blurring the line between fashion & costume. But in a very fun, very now kind of way. I am kind of digging that.
