Lanvin lovin': heels for fall

As a Lanvin lov-er, I was so excited to recently find these gorgeous heels from the house. LOVE. Oh, & as someone who lives in black maryjanes in the fall, I am crazy about the bottom pair (especially the thickness of the heel). Still my heart.

Fabulous Frenjick Quesada-designed space

So, I'm officially addicted to Coroflot. Was browsing interior design portfolios there when I stumbled on the work of Frenjick Quesada. Fell in love with this space in particular (above). So happy & thoughtful, that it's perfect!

Still undecided on the costume? Mask from craft store + pretty rhinestones (inspired by the above looks) = so adorable it hurts, no?

Here's wishing you a safe, stylish & happy Halloween! All the best!

Clutches & Carry-Ons (I'm obsessed with)

When I saw these amazing (vintage!) bags from Jess James Jake, my 1st thoughts were: "Uh. Wow. Beautiful." Then I saw the prices. That's when I knew I had to post on them. None of the bags featured here cost more than $60 (& most less than $40). Can you believe it???!!! Love!

Pretty Matches from Cox & Cox

Until stumbling on these pretties, I had no idea how stylish matches/matchboxes could be. Loving them for hostesses, darling wedding favors, & the stylish smoker (don't frown, they do exist, & before you get all judge-y, I'm 1 of them). I'm loving these 2 options from Cox & Cox. From the festive type, to the fun birds, they are perfect.

Runway Loving: Beyond the West

NYC. London. Milan. Paris. Yawn. Lately I'm inspired by the looks on the Indian runways, as seen on the VOGUE India site. Fell in love with these looks (above) from the Nachiket Barve show. So beautiful, no?

So, I totally thought of Michelle Obama when I saw this collection. The bright (amazing) colors & smart silhouettes would look lovely on the first lady (whose style sense, BTW, makes me proud to be an American).

Sexy '70s-Inspired Bachelor Pad

Love 70s-inspired design & bachelors, so this cool pad, featured in The New York Times recently caught my eye. I realize a "conversation pit" in the living room isn't for everyone, but it sure beats a futon! Oh & this makeover was completed on a $5k budget. Awesome. Anybody else loving these budget-conscious makeovers in the NYTs recently?

Runway Beauty Inspiration: Fall Nights

Need beauty inspiration for your fall nights out? Look no further than the Fall 09 Dolce & Gabbana show. Loving it. Formula seems simple enough: dramatic lip + strong lid/lash + center hair part = stunning. Easy enough, which I love.

Wanting, no, needing 1 of these...

How fabulous are these limited edition leather envelope purses from Couverture? Great gift idea for the super stylish set on your holiday gift list. I'm also thinking, maybe inspiration for another DIY/style project? Either way, I love!

Russian dolls, I want

I have no idea why I'm obsessed with these as of late. But I am. They are just too adorable. I want a set for every room in my place. Again, I have no explanation for this craving (shrug), just loving them lately.
